Labradors.com (“Labradors.com” or “we”, “our” or “us”) takes very seriously the private nature of your personal information. The privacy of all Labradors.com users is as important to us as your favorite squeaky toy. This Privacy Policy describes how we treat the information we collect when you visit http://Labradors.com, including all sub-domains (collectively, the “Site”) or use the products or services offered through the Site (collectively, the “Services”). This Privacy Policy applies to all of the Services offered by Labradors.com, its subsidiaries and affiliated companies. By using or accessing the Site, you are accepting the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

User Provided Information: You provide certain personally identifiable information, such as your name, email address, date of birth, credit card account, mailing address and telephone number (“Personal Information”) to Labradors.com when choosing to participate in various activities, such as uploading files, posting messages, purchasing deals, entering contests or sweepstakes, taking advantage of promotions, responding to surveys, or subscribing to newsletters or other mailing lists. In addition to Personal Information, you provide non-personally identifiable information and content pertaining to your dog, such as breed, date of birth, photos and videos, as well as non-personally identifiable commerce activity. If you do not want us to store metadata associated with content you share on Labradors.com (such as photos), please remove the metadata before uploading the content.

Site Activity Information: We keep track of some of the actions you take on Labradors.com, such as adding connections (including joining a group or adding a friend), creating a photo album, or purchasing a deal. In some cases you are also taking an action when you provide information or content to us. For example, if you share a video, in addition to storing the actual content you uploaded, we might log the fact that you shared it.

Passive Information Collection: Like most websites, Labradors.com automatically receives and records information on our server logs from your browser when you use Labradors.com. We may use a variety of methods, including clear GIFs (also known as "web beacons"), JavaScript and "cookies" to collect this information. We may occasionally collect and store your IP address. This helps us diagnose problems with our servers, administer our site, gather non-personally identifying information about our users, and detect and prevent fraudulent activity.

Facebook Information Collection: By logging into the Site using your Facebook credentials, you will be giving Labradors.com access to certain general personally identifying information stored in your Facebook profile. We will not view or store any data available to us from your Facebook profile without first obtaining your consent. You will be able to select what information we obtain from Facebook when registering for your Labradors.com account. At various times on the Site, you will be able to share our content with your Facebook friends. We do not view or store lists of your friends, nor do we view or store the specific messages that you send to your friends. However, we may record the number of times that particular content has been shared.

Twitter Information Collection: By logging into the Site using your Twitter credentials, you will be giving Labradors.com access to certain general personally identifying information stored in your Twitter profile. We will not view or store any data available to us from your Twitter profile without first obtaining your consent. At various times on the Site, you will be able to share our content with your Twitter followers. We do not view or store lists of your followers, nor do we view or store the specific messages that you send to your followers. However, we may record the number of times that particular content has been shared.

Your Email Address: When you sign up for our mailing lists, a Labradors.com account, or other service or promotion that requires registration, you will be required to provide a valid email address. We will only use this email address to contact you as part of the transaction process, to send you periodic emails that you have subscribed to, or for purposes that are intended to enhance your user experience. We may also occasionally contact you to obtain feedback on a specific merchant deal or product you have purchased. We will not share your contact information with third parties unless you have opted-in to receiving communications from such third parties.

Your Name: When signing up for our mailing lists, a Labradors.com account, or other services or promotions that require registration, you may provide your name at that time so that we can personalize all communications you receive from us.

Your Financial Information: For purchasing Pro Network accounts or other products, we request credit card or other payment account information which are maintained in encrypted form on secure servers. We do not share this information with any third party except for those companies responsible for processing credit card transactions for us.

Your Demographic Information: We will occasionally collect demographic data about you and your registered dog(s), such as zip code, gender, age, breed and commerce activity. Providing this information is typically optional but helps us determine which deals and products our users would most appreciate. We may also share this data with third parties, such as the merchants featured on our site, but only in aggregate. No third party will be able to trace your personal demographic information back to you unless you have given your express permission to do so.

Your Passive Information: We use your passive information to: (a) recognize your account credentials; (b) provide custom, personalized content and information; (c) monitor the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns; (d) monitor aggregate metrics, such as total number of visitors, pages viewed, etc.; and (e) track your entries, submissions and status in promotions, sweepstakes and contests. We also use passively collected information to administer, operate and improve the user experience on our Site. Labradors.com uses information collected by passive means in aggregated or other non-personally identifiable forms.

Labradors.com will generally allow you to choose to not receive certain types of email communication from us, except for those that are absolutely necessary. Emails will generally contain a link at the bottom, providing you the option to be removed from our mailing list.

We may disclose Personal Information if we have a good faith belief that doing so is required by a subpoena or other judicial or administrative order or otherwise required by law. Any Personal Information you provide on third-party sites or services is provided directly to that third party and is subject to that third party's policies governing privacy and security. We are not responsible for the content or privacy and security practices and policies of third-party sites or services.

Labradors.com uses commercially reasonable physical, managerial and technical safeguards to preserve the integrity and security of your Personal Information. Although we make good faith efforts to maintain the security of such Personal Information, we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to Labradors.com and you do so at your own risk. Once we receive your transmission of information, Labradors.com makes commercially reasonable efforts to ensure the security of our systems. However, please note this is not a guarantee that such information may not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by breach of any of our physical, technical, or managerial safeguards.

Labradors.com does not knowingly collect any information from persons under the age of 13. If we determine that any content has been uploaded to the Site by someone under the age of 13, it will be removed. If you are between the ages of 13 and 18, please ask your parent or guardian’s permission before using the Site and our Services.

The Site is hosted in the United States and is intended for and directed to users in the United States. If you access the Site from any region or country with laws or regulations governing personal data collection, use and disclosure, that differ from United States laws, please be advised that through your continued use of the Site, which is governed by U.S. law, this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service, you are transferring your personal information to the United States and you consent to that transfer.

We may update this Privacy Policy at any time, with or without advance notice. In the event there are material changes in the way we treat your Personal Information, or in the Privacy Policy document itself, we will display a notice on the Site or send you an email, as provided for above. Unless stated otherwise, our current Privacy Policy applies to all information that Labradors.com has about you and your account. Using our Services after a notice of changes has been sent to you or published on our site shall constitute consent to the changed terms or practices.
